I’ve been on a mission to find the best Dan Dan noodles in YYC and we have a new winner. This place checks all the boxes for me. It’s in a strip mall across from a store that sells dried everything. It’s non-descript, unpretentious and humble. The noodles were great, we also had wontons in chili oil. They served grapefruit tea which was fantastic. Will absolutely be back.

Really friendly owner! Food was pretty decent and came out quick and nice. Good place to stop by. Might look a little empty (To be fair, I did arrive just as they opened), but don’t be fooled as it’s pretty good for its price point.

Absolutely delicious and authentic. I’ve tried many street foods restaurants in Chengdu (Sichuan, China) this is very very authentic. Especially 口水鸡,担担面,火锅粉,酸辣粉。鲜椒牛肉粉is an owner’s own creation and is brilliant. The chef’s wife is working as the server, and she gives great recommendations of the dishes. I noticed some bad reviews complaints that some of the noodle soup didn’t have meat. But that is how these specific soups are in chengdu. If you would prefer the ones with meats, then you can order the ones that have beef in the name. Or have one of their delicious meats as a side dishes.

Friendly service and food came out quickly. I had a short lunch break and was able to place my order right away and finished my meal within an hour. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles as recommended by a lot of reviewers and it was delicious. It was flavourful with the right amount of spice. My friend ordered the wontons in chili sauce and i had a couple and i didnt think it was spicy at all, definitely great dish to share. Will definitely be back to try other items.

Delicious Sichuan snacks! Their noodle dishes are all amazing. I’ve tried the chicken gizzard rice noodles, dandan noodles, and beef noodles here—you must try the cold chilli chicken (口水鸡) in spicy sauce

We ordered the dandan noodles and chili oil wontons. They're so yummy. The lady at the counter was really nice as well. If we weren't from toronto, we would probably come to this restaurant a lot, but honestly, the food is some of the most perfectly cooked, flavourful chinese food I've had to day.

Tried their spicy beef noodle - Good flavor and texture! Service is fast. Love that they serve tea instead of water (as it should be)

Nestled in a small strip mall in Chinatown, this restaurant truly is a hole in the wall. We ordered a few items to share since I heard the portions are huge. Service was ok and prices were fair. Pork rice 1/10 Chilli wontons 9/10 Dan Dan noodles 9/10 Ended up ordering the wonton soup as well and it was good also. The pork rice was very bland and the meat was kind of cold so I didn’t really enjoy this dish. However, the chilli wontons and the Dan Dan noodles made up for it. Perfect amount of spice in both dishes, the noodles were bouncy and both just had so much flavour. Will come back for those anytime.
